I was having a girls weekend with one of my closest friends.
We decided to head up to Shoal Bay and stay at SALT on Shoal Bay (The neighbour of one of my family friends owns it, and she is soo lovely that I couldn't resist but seeing what she and her partner had created there!).
Salt is one of the most beautiful holiday homes I've ever seen; a slice of boho chic located directly on the turquoise waters of the bay. (If you're thinking of a weekend escape, holiday or even just a beautiful place for an event or hens weekend, I definitely recommend it!

We spent most of our time here just chilling by the beaches/bays, walking through town and tasting the local foodie goodness!
However, we also decided to have a girls picnic on the beach. We invited the girls from SALT too and had Miss Mays help us put it together.
I did a beach meet up a few months ago on Redhead Beach, and it was a FABULOUS day and an even more fabulous spread!
Miss Mays Picnics is a Partner duo, and together they have both now quit their old jobs and are working on this; their new baby together. Making extraordinary picnics and spreads for people and their events.
They cater to all food allergies, preferences and intolerances, and will go set up anywhere from Newcastle, The Hunter Valley and even out at the bay!
They come out and set up the entire thing themselves, food already cut and prepped (they woke up at 3am for my last picnic to get everything done on time! THAT'S dedication!!)

They then set it all up, and arrange these foods and fruits, with beautiful decorations, flowers, cushions and blankets and chairs. They really go all out, and put their entire hearts in to what they create, specifically for YOU.

They think of EVERYTHING, even umbrellas so you can hide from the harsh sun if needed!

I wanted to share this company with you, not because I'm getting paid to do so (because I'm not haha!), but because I really honestly love their ethos, them as humans, them as a couple, and love how much love and energy they put in to creating these tables for you and your friends/guests.
they have even hosted a bunch of larger events and even weddings too!
To me, this is the epitome o a perfect morning picnic, and I thought maybe it would be something you'd like too.
