There are literally ENDLESS benefits from incorporating a yoga and meditative practice in to your life.
Some are standard benefits, and others are a little more far fetched. Scientific research is constantly being done on the benefits of yoga and meditation, but a lot of the time the more extreme findings (such as curing cancer and lengthening the life expectancy etc.) are still being explored.
however, there are a bunch of more obvious benefits of yoga and meditation, here are just a few of my favourites:

- Increases overall wellness
- Improves mental clarity
- Improves memory and focus
- Assists in regulation of mood and anxiety disorders
- Calms the breath
- Quiets the mind
- Improves decision making skills
- General psychological wellbeing
- Brings a sense of peace and ease
- Improves balance
- Tones the body
- Improves joint mobility
- Helps with muscle development and memory skills
- Strengthens the immune system
- Promotes deeper sleep
- Improves empathy and positive relationships (both with ourselves and others)
- Forsters creativity
- Cultivates patience
- Improves learning and self awareness
