Weight: I wouldn’t even know.. I do not weigh myself, I believe this is the best and healthiest way to be. I think weight is completely irrelevant; It’s just a number; it doesn’t define me, it doesn’t make me a good or a bad person, it doesn’t make me “pretty” or “ugly”, and it certainly has no relevance to how fit or healthy I am. All I know is that I am happy and comfortable in my body. I treat my body right, try stay active and feed myself the things I need whilst also eating as many whole foods as possible. I FEEL amazing, so I don’t see why I should give myself a number, or give anyone else a number, by which they can compare, judge and criticise me or themselves on. Knowing your own number is irrelevant enough if you ask me, but knowing someone else’s is completely and utterly unnecessary. How much someone else weighs has nothing to do with ourselves. No body is built the same, so even if you weigh the same amount, you will not automatically LOOK the same. Muscle mass, height, bone shape and structure, genetics etc play a major role in the way we look ... Not our weight.
The idea and notion that females should or need to weigh a certain amount is something I want to be able to change.
Accept and love your own body, and it will be better than having anyone else’s :)
